What’s been happening:

I returned, single again, to Pennsylvania (WOOHOO!) just 7 years ago after living in the midwest and the south for 28 years. My daughter, following to be near me in the 'burbs of Philly, is married and has one daughter. My son, also married and with one son, is living in South Carolina. I love being my grandchildren's 'nonna.' Though it would be nice to be retired by now, I still enjoy teaching high school English in Bucks County. I hope to retire to State College in about 3-4 years. My dear friend Cindy from undergrad days still lives there with her family, and they graciously 'entertain' me on football weekends. I miss very few of these! My blood bleeds blue, and I continue to encourage students who express any interest in attending PSU. I frequently tell stories of first floor Hibbs girls having hat shows, pulling pranks, and sunbathing on College Ave. lawn. I'll always remember the Hibbs girls and Beaver boys being the last ones out after dinner, and, I'll never forget 'sneaking' out multitudes of fruit after the decree not to take more than 2 pieces! One of my best memories, though, is of borrowing the piano from the lobby of Beaver to take to the 6th floor for a 'gathering.' I met some life-long friends at that event and others in south halls. Penn State will always be in my heart!
